To burn or not to burn, that is the question

Last week needed to mount an ISO disk image on a WindowsXP computer. To my amazement I found the solution on the Windows website. The best of all is that the application is free. Even though Microsoft do not publish it openly you can download the a small utility called the Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel. This will allow you to mount an .ISO disk image and access the files on it as if it were burned to CD or DVD.

Probably too late now, but I remember back in my Dark Days of using W*****s, Daemon-Tools was the best package around for mounting ISO's and other images to virtual drives:
