Spreading the news

Even when they have called us primates and monkey cousins (local joke), I want to help MercatorNet to increase their ratings (surely they will go up after this post). We have to accept MercatorNet as a better-than-the-average e-magazine. Unfortunately yesterday it went off the air for more than 24hours and proves one thing, MercatorNet is becoming popular, well done Michael! Keep spreading the news!

MercatorNet.com

MercatorNet offers analysis of current affairs and key international news and trends which touch its readers’ daily lives. It speaks to everyone who believes that ethics is more than opinions, that there is a transcendent dimension to our lives, and that facts are sturdier than ideology.
MercatorNet’s ambition is to put a sound vision of the human person at the center of politics, education, social policy and culture. It welcomes a diverse range of opinions on politics, economics and other social issues.
MercatorNet offers views you can use. We know that every day our readers are in danger of being overwhelmed by an avalanche of news from radio, TV, newspapers, magazines and the internet. But intelligent, common sense commentary on current affairs is rare. We want our readers to use the facts and figures and arguments they find at our website to influence public opinion.

Update - There is another project that is not well known yet but it is as good as the first one.

AustralasianBioethics - BioEdge
Australasian Bioethics Information is a clearinghouse for information about cutting-edge bioethical issues. Based in the Southern Hemisphere but speaking to the world, ABI is completely independent. It is designed and maintained by volunteers and financed by supporters and contributors.
